Starting out in the late ‘80s as food stalls in malls around the Metro, Sangkalan Grill Restaurant has, over the years, grown into a well-loved dining place, helping you with authentic and delicious Filipino food, and only with outstanding personalized service.

Sangkalan was the first to serve the all-time favorite tapsilog on a sangkalan or chopping board-shaped dish. We have nurtured our name, and a proud tradition of fine Filipino dining, since 1991. We boast of our years of excellent service, with a dedicated team, and full of passion, preparing and bringing you only excellent Filipino dish.

Sangkalan Grill and Restaurant, is a family owned corporation that was established in June 1987. We are the Grill and Bar Restaurant offering authentic Filipino cuisine. Our restaurant is known in providing exclusive comfort, convenience, great food and personalize service.

Sangkalan Grill and Restaurant is a brainchild of the couple, Carlos and Malen de Guzman. It started out with Mommy's food stalls in several shopping centers under the trade name Mommy's Best Country Basket. In November 1991, it opened its first restaurant under the trade name Sangkalan Grill and Restaurant at no. 25 Visayas Ave., Quezon City. Soon after, in August 1993, Sangkalan Restaurant was born at No. 7 Scout Albano St., Quezon City. Four years later, another branch was opened in Fairview, Quezon City. In 2008 the company decided to close the Fairviw branch after eleven years in operation in order to concentrate its operations on the other two branches.

Sangkalan Grill and Restaurant is owned and operated by CMPP Foods Corp. The management team is currently holding office at No. 7 Scout Albano St., Quezon City, with Tel. Nos. 924-1866 and 928-4307.

The members of the team are trained to bring out their skills and energies to strengthen our commitment to render quality service to our customers. Like any other business, our restaurant organizes its management structure according to areas of authority and responsibility.
